The 1978 Dawn of the Dead Official Poster Book was a promotional movie tie-in published by MW Communications in Pittsburgh for George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead. It was sold as a small folded poster-magazine, roughly 8⅜ x 10⅞ inches folded, that opened into a large 21½ x 33¼ inch full-color poster.
Rather than being a traditional book, it functioned as a collectible fan piece: part poster, part souvenir magazine. It included movie photos, behind-the-scenes information, and a large fold-out illustrated poster built around the famous tagline, “When there’s no more room in hell… the dead will walk the earth.” MyComicShop lists its original cover price as $1.95 and describes it as a tie-in with Romero’s feature film.
