JCPenney is celebrating its grand opening Friday as the newest attraction at Monroeville Mall. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to welcome shoppers to the store's new location in a space formerly occupied by Boscov's at the west end of the mall. Mall goers will also notice a few new features inside the department store, including a Sephora cosmetic department and a professional hair salon. Plans call for a new movie theater to be built in the old JCPenney location in the center of the mall.
